The Mikhail Prokhorov Foundation is a private charity launched in 2004 by the businessman Mikhail Prokhorov. The Foundations priority is the support and development of new cultural institutions and initiatives in Russia, as well the promotion of Russian culture in the global intellectual community.

  • This competition is for specialists in education, culture and the arts, and lecturers and researchers in the humanities to obtain travel grants. The grants are intended for participation at conferences and seminars, to undertake brief periods of research in academic and cultural institutions both in Russia and abroad in order to deepen and expand professional knowledge.

  • The Mikhail Prokhorov Foundation has been the general partner of the Russian National Orchestra since 2009, and from 2009 has similarly been the general partner of the RNO Festival.
  • The 'Theatrical Syndrome' Festival is a large-scale theatre project organised by the Mikhail Prokhorov Foundation.
